Club House

Prince and I have a Club House in our backyard. We used some already dropped leaves under a palm tree. Mom told us that we should recycle, so we have an ecological Club House. Yes, indeed, we are green cats (it got nothing to do with the fact that we are too lazy to build anything).

It's a Club House just for us, male cats; no girls allowed. I'm sorry about my dear girly friends. You know I love you all, but we need a place to do our manly things, like take naps and rest.

Well, guess what happened the other day: I was on my way to the club when I saw some girls around our secret palm tree.

"Hey! Who are you? What are you doing here?"
"What? There's another one? Oww, that's something I can't allow. Get away from my Club House!"
What happened was that Prince was distracted following a lizard of something and didn't watch the premises. I decided that we needed more walls, so I sent Prince for more palm leaves.

Efficiently, he found some very fast. I was happy and waiting for him to bring them.

And I waited...

And I waited...

And I waited...

Where is he?

He decided to get some rest. I thought: "What a lazy brother I have!" But, as I say: "If you can't fight against the enemy join them"... so I found a quiet place and decided to take a nap. Indeed I did.

Laundry basket cat

I love to play in the laundry basket. It's the best! I wait until Mom empties it and jump right in.

But Prince doesn't like it. He doesn't understand the dinamics of the play in here.
So, he prefers to leave me alone and go to the club house, he loves it there.Better for me. I'll rather stay here playing with Mom. She puts in a stick and I trap it. Since I was a baby I play with the stick in a laundry basket, It's something Mom and I can do without any intromission of my other brothers and sisters. Oh, how I enjoy it!

A Beautiful Award!

My friend Millie, from Millie's House, has given me an award: The Beautiful Blogger Award. Oh, I'm so honored to receive this distinguished award. For this award I have to tell 7 things about me, then pass it on to 7 friends. Let's see my 7 things:

1. I did a survey and the result are that I'm the most handsome cat in my house.
2. I love to play inside the laundry basket (I'll show you some pics soon).
3. When I get stressed my ears are turned backwards and I do some jumps, that's how Mom knows I am mad and want to get out. She laughs every time she sees me like this.
4. I have a club house with Prince, under a palm tree.
5. I hate car rides.
6. I pee on the same sofa when I'm lock up inside the house against my will (well, that's not beautiful, sorry).
7. I love to go to my neighbor's house to hang out in his front yard.

Now, my seven beautiful furry friends for this award.

1. Albert the Cat
2. Blind Maximus
3. Rumblebum
4. Niqqi
5. Dolly
6. Sydpie (smoooooooch!)
7. Amy and The House of Cats

I WON, I WON!!!

YESSSSSSSS!!! I knew it, I'm the most handsome of the house. I got 11 votes vs. Prince, that had only 7. And I'm suspecting that he forced some people to vote for him. I'm still trying to find out who changed their vote and if someone voted more than once. Well, anyway, I'm not gonna be all stressed about that because, at the end of the day, I AM THE WINNER!
Prince: Yeah, yeah...
Piru: Oh, you're around. Did you come to congratulate me?
Prince: Not really, I came to eat.
Piru: Anyway, what do you have to say as been the defeated.
Prince: You know? I don't care. No, seriously, I really don't. Do you know why? Because I have a healthy self-esteem. I don't need any survey or anyone to tell me if I'm handsome or not because I know I am. So, do you need a statement? Here it is: (shows his paw).
Piru: Oh, my!
A voice: Piru and Prince!
Piru and Prince: What? Who's there?
A voice: You are brothers. You two know that you love each other and care for the other one. If that's not the case, why did Prince defended you when that cat came to hurt him? And Piru, why did you..., well, you always...., ummmm, I mean, you do..... Anyway, you got accustomed to Prince. You are family, even you like it or not. And I know that both of you want to make your Mom happy, is this correct or not?
Piru and Prince: Yes!
A voice: Then, make peace between you two and behave.
Prince: I suppose I can do that.
Piru: All right, I think I can do that, too.
A voice: Glad to hear you agree with me. Bye.
Prince: Who was that voice?
Piru: I don't know. But, forget it. Do you want to go celebrate my victory?
Prince: I don't think so.
Piru: Well, then, just hang out at the front yard.
Prince: That seems all right.

A voice: And then, Piru and Prince went to the front yard to relax a little bit before Mom calls them to eat. It was a beautiful afternoon. Most of the sky was blue, but just a few little clouds that let go some light showers to cool the temperature. The wind was coming from north and bringing also a shower of little yellow leaves, each one with a drop of rain that, with the reflection of the sun, seemed like floating diamonds. It was perfect: fresh air, cool temperature, the smell of flowers and two strange dogs coming down the street...
WHAT?!!!! TWO STRANGE DOGS COMING TO OUR HOUSE?!!!

Prince: RUUUN, RUUUUUNNNNN!!!!
Piru: What? Oh! MOOOOOOOMMMM, OPEEEEEN THE DOOOOOOORRRRR!!!!!

URGENT POST!

I CAN'T BELIEVE WHAT MY EYES HAVE SEEN! SOMEBODY CHANGED HIS VOTE!!!
What, what is happening? How can it be possible? People are becoming crazy! Oh, no! Oh, no!
Prince: "Stop that already, don't be so melodramatic!"
Piru: "YOU, you did this! Who did you convince to change his vote?"
Prince: "I didn't do anything, if someone changed their vote, I didn't have nothing to do with it."
Piru:: "You're a liar!"
Prince: "MIAURRRLLLL!"
Piru: "MAURRRRLLLL, HISSS!"
Mom: Hey! What's going on? Be quiet!
Piru: "Mom, he started it..."
Prince "No, you started it..."
Mom: "Shut up, both of you. Is this because of that silly survey? I'm going to delete it right now."
Piru: "No, please Mom, no!"
Mom: "This survey was supposed to be just for fun, that's what you told me, Piru. Now you're fighting for a silly thing. You both know that I love you equally and that I think you are both equally handsome. What's the problem? Are you two going to behave?"
Piru: "Yes, Mom, I'm sorry, I promise."
Mom: "And you?"
Prince: "Yes, Mom, I promise, I'll be a good boy."
Mom: "Okey, I'll give you a chance. Now, shake paws and go away, I have tons of work to do at home today."
Piru: "Uf, that was close!"
Prince:" You know, Piru? Ever since I came to this family you've been fighting with me, pushing me away and competing with me in every aspect. But I only wanted to have a family and I was thrilled to have a brother to play with. Now as time passes, I'm just tired of the way you treat me. I want you to know that I don't care what's the result of the survey are, I don't care if I win of lose and I don't care if you like me or not. From now on I'll roam alone and I'll play with Liah whenever I'm in the mood to do so. You go your way and I'll go mine. Maybe I'll see you at dinner time. Bye."
Piru: "Wow, that was harsh. It's only a playful survey, I don't know why he takes things so personally."
A voice: "Piru."
Piru: "What? Who's there."
A voice: "Think about the things Prince just said. It's not about the survey, it's about the way you treat him."
Piru: "But..."
A voice: "No, no buts, think about it for a while."
Piru:"Okey, I'll come back later after the nap."

I'm still winning!

There are only two days left to vote and I'm winning. The thing is: who voted for Prince? Because I know that all my furry friends voted for me. Mmmmm, who could that be?
Well, I don't think that Mom would dare to do THAT, 'cause I'll be devastated. Maybe, that friend of Mom's who was here the other day... I know she likes Prince a lot and always gives him prawns when he rubs his tail against her. I think I'll bite her ankle the next time she's around. Who else, who else? Ah, my treacherous human sisters... they were talking a lot with Prince and using the computer.

Prince: "Yes, they voted for me, so what? I'm halfway up to your number, be afraid, be very afraid. JA, JA, JA, Ja, Ja, ja, ja....

Piru: "I hate when you do that laughing."

Anyway, I think I don't have anything to worry about, I'm way up ahead. In fact, I'm so confident in my success that now I'll just take a nap and wait until the mid-afternoon snack.
